What vision did the author have for a custom book cover?

Tyler Pyle chose our custom cover design service with an additional concept. This option is available to all authors for an extra $150. He provided a clear vision for both versions.

For the first concept, he envisioned a gold pocket watch alongside a rune-engraved dagger, with one rune symbol hovering above. For the second, he requested a Runic symbol in a bone set against a stark black background.

What custom covers did our designer create?

Our designer carefully reviewed the brief and the author’s vision, then brought both concepts to life.

Custom cover concept 1

The first cover concept uses a bold sword placement to create power, while the gold frame swirls add a mystical mood. A rune stone on the dagger stands out and draws the eye. The border features detailed runes that suggest ancient secrets, and a small clock at the top hints at a mysterious connection to time.

As for the second option, the metallic style of the title gives the cover a strong fantasy mood. Swirling purple energy around the center adds intensity and movement. A glowing rune stone stands out as the focal point. Floating runes around it suggest ancient magic at work. The dark background makes all the magical elements pop.

What custom cover concept did the author choose?

Tyler Pyle chose the second concept, which captured his vision so perfectly that no revisions were needed. Now, let’s take a closer look at the final custom cover design, complete with spine and back cover.

In addition to the book cover, the author also ordered a set of marketing materials. These visuals play a key role in any successful book promotional campaign, making every post and email stand out and impossible to scroll past.

Summing up

As a result, this object-based design captures the essence of Bone Runes: mysterious, magical, and bold. The glowing rune at the center, combined with the swirling energy and dark background, immediately signals a story filled with secrets and ancient power. It’s a perfect match for the YA fantasy genre and Tyler Pyle’s vision.
